*SAFE DRIVE, SAVE LIFE*
The Jalpaiguri district police organized road safety awareness programs bringing together the public, drivers, and students. The aim was to educate about traffic rules and minimize accidents. Leaflets on Safe Drive, Save Life (SDSL) principles were distributed, and SDSL reflective stickers were placed on vehicles to promote safe driving habits. This community effort underscores the importance of road safety for all.
Dhupguri PS, Matelli PS and Malbazar PS separately orchestrated significant awareness campaign at Kadamtala Bazar under Dhupguri PS, Batabari TG under Matelli PS, Leesh River Tea Estate under Malbazar PS . It was heartening to see the enthusiastic participation of students from Vidyashram High School, Dhupguri and the general public.Together, we delved into crucial topics like child marriage, human trafficking, and more. These discussions were vital in raising awareness and fostering dialogue on issues that deeply affect our community.

Today, the Jalpaiguri district police took a proactive step towards ensuring safer roads for all. Through road safety awareness programs, the community came together to educate both the public and drivers about crucial traffic rules aimed at minimizing accidents. Leaflets detailing the principles of Safe Drive, Save Life (SDSL) were distributed, while SDSL reflective stickers were affixed to vehicles, serving as a constant reminder to prioritize safety on the road. Malbazar Police Station organized a commendable blood donation camp at the P.S. premises. The event was inaugurated by Shri Nilesh Shrikant Gaikwad, IPS, SDPO, Malbazar, Jalpaiguri, with support from Super, Malbazar Superspeciality Hospital, and other dedicated doctors. Both police personnel from Malbazar Police Station and members of the local community actively participated, resulting in a substantial collection of blood. Heartfelt thanks to Malbazar Super Speciality Hospital for their unwavering support!
Rajganj PS, Maynaguri PS and Nagrakata PS organised a crucial awareness programme at Shikarpur TG, Section No. 15, with the presence of Sri Arindam Pal Chowdhury, DYSP (Traffic), Sri Anupam Majumder, IC Rajganj PS, Subal Chandra Ghosh, IC Maynaguri PS, Koushik karmakar, IC Nagrakata PS, Smt Dikki Lahmu Bhutia, IC Women PS, and other police personnel. Tea Garden workers, alongside TG Management, actively participated in the event. Our superiors delivered insightful speeches covering topics such as human trafficking, child abuse, child labor, child marriage, cybercrimes, and everyday issues. Their guidance and expertise are invaluable as we work together to address these pressing challenges.
