On behalf of Jalpaiguri Police I welcome you to our website Jalpaiguri Police.
Our aim, while designing this website was to make it most interactive and citizen friendly. You know that Jalpaiguri police has always stood by its motto of ‘CITIZENS FIRST’. Therefore, we have designed this site to gain more from you as well as to make the process of policing more transparent and citizen friendly.

You can now report various types of crimes online, which shall directly go to the senior officers. Also the status of your passport enquiries, pending in the district, can now be seen online. Similarly we shall be putting up regular traffic updates so that you are well aware in advance regarding any traffic blockages, bottlenecks or traffic jams. You can also download foreigner registration forms, tenant & domestic help registration forms from this site. We are providing you safety tips on a number of issues for your personal safety as well as safety of your family and property. The organizational chart as well as the list of officers shall enable you to get in touch with the right person for the redressal of your problems.

We have also provided a special space for Most Wanted Criminals so that you may also step in to help us to catch them. Status of missing persons /vehicles can also be obtained from this site now.

Apart from that you can also know the status of our new initiatives e.g., in HIMAL-TERRAI- DOOARS FESTIVALS for last two years.  You must be able to recall the POLICE PUBLIC FRIENDSHIP CUP Football Tournament organised by us which was a great success. We also organised traffic week in Jalpaiguri  District. Besides we are organising regular HEALTH CHECK-UP Camp to keep our force fit and also to encourage members of public on benefits of good health. We even stepped forward to celebrate Anti Drugs Day (26th June) in each Police Station area through various programmes for spreading awareness against drugs.

However, our aim, in short, is to help in building a crime free society which is based on the rule of law. Also we endeavour to ensure safety and security of one and all so that each one can exercise their fundamental rights without any undemocratic restriction. We look forward to your continuous support and help.
